DE FACTO PHEU THAI boss Thaksin Shinawatra said today (May 25) he is already too old to fight back against any of his political opponents who may look to put an end to current rule by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and the Pheu Thai-led government.

The 74-year-old Thaksin told reporters during today’s visit to Nakhon Ratchasima that he would definitely not retaliate against those who may have turned hostile toward the Pheu Thai-attached prime minister or himself because, he said, he is now too old to take revenge.

The de facto Pheu Thai boss was responding to criticism that he was looking to fight back against those political opponents, especially the 40 senators who had recently filed an impeachment bid to the Constitutional Court against the prime minister.

“I am too old to fight back. Just let it be to each their own,” the billionaire, politically powerful Thaksin said without elaborating.

He should be in Jail!

Too old to fight back, but not to old to travel to CM for fine dining with politicians, or meet influential Myanmar dictators,,,

not bad for a man on parole, a couple of months after being at deaths door..

If he's to old, stay home, play with the grandchildren and keep your nose out of politics...

you may believe you are the saviour of Thailand, but all your meddling is confusing other country leaders as to who is running the country.

Even now they are openly asking questions about who is running Thailand.

Surely he has enough goons/thugs/ hangers on to sort out his issues!

Obviously he would announce in public if he would (want to) retaliate. Or maybe not.

He should just shut his big mouth and play with his grandchildren.

Phew, the Mr T haters have a double helping of red meat today .

I'll just pick up on one piece of uninformed drivel. He didn't go to C.M. to meet with Myanmar dictators. He actually met with groups who are fighting the military junta.

Nevermind, they are always confused. It´s a standard state of mind here. 😉

To old to fight back...pmsl...sucker punch thrown...will it connect?

Entertaining as ever. Thaksin running rings around and the haters hating.

Savvy response by Thaksin. Senators only firing a warning shot. Both sides will heed the warning. The country sighs a relief of further political instability.

But but but - you were on your death-bed for a year and it managed to keep you out of prison.
Then after a month of wearing medical props during your first month of parole - A MIRACLE!  Tony's as healthy as can be!  Hallelujah - Buddha Be Praised.  Miraculous!

It's good to be in the billionaire class!

Is he blind now ....needs someone to lead him ....🙄
