My Steps Of Request For Student Visa Of United States Of America In Year 2007&my Experience In Us Interview

My steps of request for student visa of United States of America in year 2007

When I got "I-20 form" from my college, carried I-20 with you for VISA interview, then

I "applied at the VISA interview" at the earliest opportunity because sometime there are events which delay VISA application process.

I "purchased a Personal Identification Number(PIN)" to scheduled VISA interview time http://thailand.us-visaservices.com.

I went to post office to use service "pay at post",paying VISA fee and taking its receipt with you to interview.

I connected to the internet for paying "SEVIS fee" at https://www.fmjfee.com/index.jhtml

,and brought the receipt as proof of payment to US embassy.

I filled forms which are:"DS-156,"DS-157,"DS 158," Respectively,http://evisaforms.state.gov/ (DS-156), http://foia.state.gov/FORMS/visa/ds0157.pdf (DS-157),

and http://foia.state.gov/FORMS/visa/ds0158.pdf (DS-158).

I "stuck my photo",5 x 5 cm with white background and no borders, taken within the

last six months. The subject must face the camera directly. The face must cover 50 percent of the

photo, and the ears must be visible. Glue or staple the photo to the DS-156 in the designated space.

I "brought additional document" such as transcript, financial statement, etc. To get more information about additional document, you can download

at http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/services/visa/NIVChecklist.pdf

.If you have any question, you can call Embassy Operator Tel: [66](2) 205-4000.

You must "arrive the U.S. embassy in Thailand which is located at 120/22 Wireless Road, Bangkok half an hour before your interview time".

I "prepareed money to buy envelop" in embassy

*******Be cautious, don't tell interviewer that you will live in US.

My experience in US interview

I arrived at U.S. embassy late, however,it isn't serious late.During waiting for interview,I found three foreigners who do task as interviewer, although, some of them can talked

thai and english but their sound seem like their original country.I waited so long as my body started to dry, finally,my queue number was called but interviewer say to me that

he press wrong number.Oh,I forgave him with my complaint was kept in my dry brain. This time is so long than before, and my queue number was called.I looked around to find

interviewer.I believe he went to toliet or something that it took a little time. Then he come back, asking for finaicial statement and my mother's work,I gave him financial statement and answered what's job that my mother work.He continuously asked

what's my grandfather, who is my mother worked for,do? I replied him,and the result of interview is I passed without any problem.
