Just Peace Advocates / Arms Embargo Now Coalition: 21 July 2026 https://armsembargonow.ca https://www.justpeaceadvocates.ca The Arms Embargo Now (AEN) coalition has spent the past few weeks tracking our newest target, Elbit systems. Elbit is Israel's largest weapons manufacturer and is the backbone of its military industrial complex. In Canada it represents a significant part of our military ties to Israel, including contracts with local suppliers and even public sector pensions. Elbit is not a shift in our demand for an arms embargo, it is us enforcing that demand from the bottom up. By taking on Elbit and targeting its ties in Canada we work to enforce an arms embargo through our communities. Our goal is simple, continue targeting Elbit through its investors, subsidiaries and suppliers until we have permanently removed it from our country.
