Hi...I need to fly from Phuket to BKk and land at Don maung. Don't want to deal with the other airport. I have read, I think that local flights still use DM? How long does it take to get from airport to the US Embassy? Price?. Thanks Ron

It will depend on the time of day but normally about an hour I suspect. The taxi fare is probably about 300 baht including expressway.

why dont you just take the bus? i bet its less than b300.

from the airport you can take an airport transfer bus into th ecity presuming they still exist from dm. when you get to silom, take a moto for b30 to the embassy.

yeah, about 300 baht including the 60 baht for the Expressway. Take the expressway...for sure. If you're on a tight budget, then use the bus mentioned.

You should note: The American Citizen Services unit at the US Embassy is open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
