Sure the info is on this forum but I can't seem to find it... does anyone know of a translation service for official document from French to Thai or English?

I need to produce a birth certificate for my son who came to live with us and they (imm) request a birth certificate... anyone knows what is really needed? as they mentionned translation certified by your embassy... no embassy in Thailand will certify a document written overseas, I checked and the only way is to send it to chancellerie of your citizenship in the country of birth if different from your citizenship.

I will try with the original in French and an official translation, hope this is enough? anybody had the problem before?
