First White House spokesperson claims that all videos of a bumbling Biden are AI deep-fake "Cheap-Fakes."

Now the Huffington Post comes out and encourages the Biden campaign team to use AI deep-fakes to augment Biden in videos.
There is something seriously wrong with that both ethically and morally imho. 

But what do you think my fellow AN members? 

Should we jettison morality and ethics and step into the abyss of deliberate misinformation as "the ends justify the means to stop Trump at any cost?"  What say you?

Should we jettison "morals, ethics and step into the abyss". We already did, or our leaders did , several decades ago.....in the US it was during the Vietnam war. 

The problem is that honesty and the truth underpin morality, and when your whole life, your values and ethics, are fake, there is nothing left to do but to use AI/AR to create another more appealing you.....one that is super fit, one that is razor sharp....aka one that is a lie.

i don't think lee harvey would like that very much. 

Some people believe that the Democratic Deep State is already using several “Joe Bidens.” Supposedly, the masks are so real these days that it’s hard to tell a masked imposter from the real thing.  So if they’re doing that, using AI would be kids play. 
 

The next few months should be fun to watch.
