Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are facing serious allegations of tax evasion on £21 million worth of revenue generated from their online business. Devon and Cornwall Police have initiated a civil claim against the two social media influencers, along with a third individual referred to as J. The accusations were brought to light during a hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court, where Sarah Clarke KC, representing Devon and Cornwall Police, described the Tates as "serial tax and VAT evaders."

Clarke highlighted the brazen attitude of the Tate brothers, particularly Andrew, towards tax obligations. She cited a video posted online by Andrew Tate, where he boldly claimed, "When I lived in England I refused to pay tax." Tate's approach to tax evasion was summed up in his own words: "ignore, ignore, ignore because in the end they go away." This admission underscores the alleged deliberate and systematic avoidance of tax payments by the brothers.

The court was informed that the Tate brothers failed to pay taxes on their substantial revenue in any country from 2014 to 2022. Clarke detailed how the brothers utilized a "huge number of bank accounts" in the UK to facilitate the movement of their business revenues. Seven of these accounts have been frozen as part of the investigation. Clarke argued that the movement of money through numerous accounts was indicative of tax evasion and money laundering.

The revenue in question was derived from various online products and their activities on OnlyFans sites. The court was also reminded of the brothers' arrest in December 2022 near Bucharest, Romania. Andrew and Tristan Tate, along with two Romanian women, were charged with human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. Despite their denials, Romanian prosecutors formally indicted all four in June of the previous year.

During the criminal investigation, the Tate brothers were held in police custody from late December 2022 until April 2023 to prevent them from fleeing or tampering with evidence. They were subsequently placed under house arrest until August, after which they were allowed to travel freely within Romania but prohibited from leaving the country.

The case against the Tate brothers highlights the complexities of tracking and prosecuting international tax evasion, especially involving high-profile individuals with extensive online businesses. The investigation by Devon and Cornwall Police continues as they seek to hold the Tates accountable for their alleged financial misconduct.

Normally I couldn't care less but these 2 individuals are as slimy as they go and hopefully get locked up for 20 years and fined 21 mill. sterling.
