Tell me why Pattaya to BKK by his
Ah, fondly remember my first trip in 2009. I would just observe that it is a learning experience so I would think they thought that was the best way of doing things simply by not knowing the alternatives. I was quite lucky, found a driver with car near the hotel I was staying … reasonable cost and I was still working so I hired him to both take me around some in Bangkok and drive me to Pattaya. I have now been here 13+ years and am much more able to wheel and deal than during that first trip. -

I note the MSM is once again attacking Trump's health as an issue - but I also remember they poo-pooed any suggestion Biden was not fit for Office for years. Trump will take a break (he is 78) and come back better than ever for the last week IMO - he aint 69/70 anymore and fit enough to do all that traveling, the long hours, and long rallies - he needed to slow down and match Kamala's pace 😁 -

It appears to be the case that the mall's initial popularity took the owners by surprise because they had to build a second multi-storey car park. -

All these funny laws, regulations and the interpretation left to the individual "officer" must be accounting for billions and billions of bakshish left right and centre. This whole rannygazoo on alcohol ban due to Buddhism - to take an example - is a Thai-government-made license to extort money by the "enforcers". All other Buddhist countries have no such restriction. Same with alcohol at the beach, no beach chair on Wednesday et al. Obviously the powers-to-be do not want to touch/change anything as it would derive them from substantial income - for themselves as well as for all those greedy goons higher up. These proactive measures - stepping up enforcement to ensure compliance with standard regulations - aim to prevent illegal activities, including drug use, underage patronage, possession of unlicensed weapons, and prostitution. Officers perform random checks on entertainment venues serving alcohol, verifying business licenses and staff documents, and ensuring no illegal activities were taking place. Pink I.D Card & Yellow Book
For those living in and around Pattaya, a claim that yellow books are sometimes useless might carry a little weight. I agree with the usefulness of a yellow book but it must be quite disappointing for someone who went through the application process only to find their local DLT does not accept yellow books as proof of residence. I know of two fairly recent cases where the yellow book was not accepted when renewing a driving licence at Chon Buri DLT. Reason given by this office for rejecting yellow books is that people move address without updating the yellow book whereas in most cases immigration carries up to date address information. For those who wish to question this, a call to the Pattaya Chon Buri office will provide the latest ruling on yellow books and pink cards. -
