Asking for trouble??? How on earth is that asking for trouble, especially in a family friendly city such as Pattaya! For all we know, they may have had his shirt removed to check for injuries. But even if he was shirtless while jogging... get a clue! That is no excuse for assault and battery! The Thai fool was apparently drunk. Four Killed in Georgia High School Shooting, 14-Year-Old Arrested
A tragic shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Barrow County, Georgia, has left four people dead and nine others injured. On Wednesday, a 14-year-old student named Colt Gray allegedly opened fire on the school campus, claiming the lives of two students and two teachers. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed the deaths and reported that Gray has been taken into custody and will face murder charges as an adult. Local authorities responded swiftly to the incident, with Sheriff Jud Smith describing the attack as "pure evil." The first reports of gunfire at the school, which houses around 1,900 students, were received at approximately 10:20 AM local time. Sheriff Smith explained, "The subject immediately surrendered. He gave up, got on the ground. And the officers took him into custody." Sheriff Smith emphasized the complexity of the investigation, noting, "This is going to take multiple days for us to get answers as to what happened and why this happened." The horror of the event was vividly described by Alexsandra Romero, a second-year student, who recalled the chaos in her classroom as the shooting unfolded. "I can just remember my hands were shaking," she told the *Atlanta Journal-Constitution*. "I felt bad because everybody was crying, everybody was trying to find their siblings. I can still picture everything, like the blood, the shouting..." The tragedy has drawn reactions from state and national leaders. He confirmed that federal agents are aiding the investigation as the community grapples with the devastating loss. Chasing teenagers on motorbikes in the hot sun, in order to fine them 300 baht for not wearing a helmet, doesn't compare to sitting behind a desk in an airconditioned office, looking at a computer printout of bank deposits by customer, supplied by BOT and then picking up a telephone and calling that person or an investigator to initiate an audit that could result in fines of tens of thousands of baht. -

50 Year Old Woman Falls from 40m Cliff While Foraging for Bamboo Shoots in Kanchanaburi
Picture courtesy of Khoasod. A 50-year-old woman suffered severe injuries after falling from a 40 metre cliff while foraging for bamboo shoots on a mountain in Sai Yok District, on September 4. Rescuers spent over 30 minutes trekking through dense forest to reach the woman, who had become separated from her husband before the fall. At approximately 14:30, the Phitak Kan Foundation received a report of an individual falling from a cliff near the Military Development Command Learning Centre in Phu Lad Village, Moo 11, Tha Sao Subdistrict, Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province. A team of more than 20 rescue volunteers was dispatched, equipped with hiking and rescue gear to assist in the operation, as the location was deep within the mountainous terrain. Upon reaching the site, rescuers encountered a steep and rocky path covered with dense vegetation, making the trek challenging. After a 30 minute hike, they arrived at the scene, where they found the injured woman stranded on a rocky ledge about 40 metres down the cliff. Due to the treacherous incline, it was impossible to access her on foot, forcing the rescuers to rappel down to reach her. Initial assessments revealed that the victim, identified as Apantip Duangsung, had likely sustained a spinal injury, rendering her immobile. The rescue team carefully secured her to a spine board before hauling her up from the cliff. Despite the rugged conditions, the team successfully transported her down the mountain and rushed her to hospital for urgent medical attention. The woman's husband recounted that he and his wife, both residents of Mueang District, Kanchanaburi, had traveled to visit relatives in Sai Yok. Earlier that day, they decided to hike up the mountain to forage for bamboo shoots. While exploring the area, they became separated, and unfamiliar with the terrain, his wife unknowingly ventured toward a concealed cliff edge, obscured by tall grass and trees, leading to her fall. Upon hearing her cries for help, he quickly rushed to the scene and called the authorities for assistance.
