Cleaning is not part of Chinese culture. 

It's considered a waste of time, you can make good money in this time. 

(BTW very different from Thai culture)

Can't really tell from the long video in terms of side extraction, but the 14 pairs of jet fans along the length of the 5.4km tunnel seem inadequate, plus they look more like fire dispersal jet fans than ventilation fans, so not in regular action moving longitudinally the air and dust or train exhaust gases.

Me thinks the fact that non sealed trains are used on that line has been overlooked!

Clearing the dust will require a team of "Fluffers", as they do nightly across the Underground in London.
