Can Foreign Tourists in Pattaya Expect Fair Legal Treatment?
I had problem with a Thai neighbour, he called the police to try settle the matter, my Thai wife asked for a Translator to translate what the Police were talking about, he said he was a Lawyer, & that i should forget about going to Court over this matter because being a Farang you will never win...I replied how does it feel to be a Lawyer in such a Corrupt country.....No answer was his reply -

"Nomad Capitalist" suggests Americans abroad may be headed towards pariah status
Tariffs have alienated all America's allies. Most are weighing up retaliatory measures. Internally, farmers can't get their crops picked. Undocumented workers are staying put, for fear of being deported if they turn up to work. Musk is getting free data from every government function. Yeah, the stable genius is excelling in stupid. So do his supporters. -

Is It Just Me, Or Are Thai Staff Getting Ruder By The Day?
I think a big problem is they get no training at all, one day working in a paddy field the next day a restaurant manager, and it’s not just restaurants it’s the same in big stores like HomePro, you ask the simplest question about where a certain product is or if something is in stock and it’s , no have, finish, without even looking, it does drive you crazy but that’s life in Thailand for you ! -

Elon Musk Urges US to 'delete' Federal Agencies in Government Overhaul
That is a typical shallow, inhumane and childish MAGA attitude. For a long time the US was looked up to as that "beacon on the hill." When any country was in need, the US was ALWAYS the first on the scene to offer a helping hand because it had more than enough and was willing to share. As a result, many allied relationships were formed. Now cruel selfishness is the attitude of the fools at the helm. Sure, the world will adjust as they wake up to the realization the US is now only out for itself, screw everyone else. The result? Those countries in need will become former allies and turn to US adversaries. Stay on this path, at the end of the day, the US will be isolated, and the way things are being run, it's going to NEED friends to get out of a terrible jam of its own making. But hey, if you can't see it from your single-wide trailer's porch, it doesn't affect you, right?
