Did my retirement extension this morning, I counted 7 people inside room 103 at 08:30 that has moved 10 meters since last year to the building next to the toilets. Paperwork

Pre-checks done by a couple young fellows there - the usual copies PP data page, all previous extensions, last entry, selfie of yourself with house number, he asked for a google map copy of your residence - had that, all bank passbook page copies, 12 month bank statement and bank letter obtained yesterday - no issues. One other thing, to all that may have a 90 day Non O e-visa from your home country make sure you bring a copy of it every extension. Done in 45 minutes, 1900 baht, pick up passport tomorrow with the new next 90 day reporting slip. See you next year !!!!

I did mine in May, the Google Map was new to me, I instead said I draw the map like old days and he said it's okay...! 😜

There was another guy he didn't have it, and the young boy went in the office and printed one for him, their service is getting better if anything...

The other thing I heard they picked on my friend's photo in front of his condo was that, it must show the house/condo number next to you clearly ...! So make sure of that...

Did my one year retirement last week. What a pain. New room 4 opposite the old room 3. Handles ever sort of long term visa. I arrive 10.00 and no queue cards left (only issue 30 morning session). I had my usual hand drawn map but now they also need a google maps screen shot your location include the lat long reference. I give photos road address sign, house number, home entrance, lounge, all with me in photo.

Yes, it never fail to amaze me each time I go for my retirement extension.  There will always be some new requirement. The google map screen shot of where you live (including lat/long) is new this year. But I have to give credit where credit is due to the staff who are checking document. If you do not have the google map, they will use their mobile phone to search it for you and send the screen shot to the photocopy shop for printing out.

One more requirement, is that you need to update your address before your extension. At the 'Drive through booth' they will give a dated stamp on the slip.  I updated it in early November, went for a short holiday in Koh Lipe. Today, they asked me to do it again because the hotel has registered me to the Satun immigration. All those talk about no need to re-register if you go back to the same address. It certainly discourage expats from taking holidays within Thailand.

All these annual stresses are taking a toll on my desire to continue to stay in Thailand.

For non O extension they require updated address registration on application day.
