The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the Kingdom of Thailand, under the leadership of His Excellency Ambassador Mohammad Hussain Al-Failakawi, is closely monitoring recent events that took place in Pattaya City. Ambassador Al-Failakawi has emphasised the importance of Kuwaiti citizens strictly adhering to the instructions and guidelines issued by the Embassy, as well as the laws and regulations enforced by the Thai authorities.

Former Members of the Dissolved MFP Form New Political Group: The People's Party

A new political group called "The People's Party" was launched today by members of the now-disbanded Move Forward Party (MFP). The new party leader is Natthaphong “Teng” Ruengpanyawut, who was the Deputy Secretary-General for the MFP.

People’s Party sets sights on 'landslide victory' in next election

Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, elected leader of the newly reformed People’s Party, made a bold declaration today, stating the party’s aim to secure a majority in the 2027 general election and form a “government of changes."

In a stunning show of support, members of the public have donated over 4.5 million baht to the People’s Party in a brief span of only four hours today.

Visa-free entry for Chinese nationals has many consequences

Chinese tourism to Thailand has recovered completely from the covid era.


The Thai government’s decision to encourage visa-free travel for Chinese nationals has certainly boosted their numbers. They are now estimated to be around 35,000 per day as flights increase from more cities in China. The overall volume is either back to pre-covid days or has even surpassed it.

Police arrested a Thai man for brutally killing another man on a road in the northern province of Kamphaengphet by repeatedly slashing him and cutting off his penis. The murder stemmed from a land dispute.
