August 11, 20242 yr I know the transfer window isn't over yet & City could spend that Alvarez money. Utd could still bring in a few more, but ... Who are your top 8 picks as it stands? I'll start. 1) Arsenal 2) Man City 3) Liverpool 4) Aston Villa 5) Tottenham 6) Man Utd 7) Chelsea 😎 Newcastle
August 11, 20242 yr Author That should have said '8' before Newcastle, but maybe that emoji is telling me something.

August 12, 20242 yr Chelsea have only spent £235 Million so far this window and have a squad of over 50 pros. Could be a struggle for them.
August 13, 20242 yr Author If City bring in 1 or 2 new faces to freshen things up my prediction would probably change. I just wonder if Pep's motivation is still as it was before.

Which I respect.... Just need someone with less morale fibre to start one!

August 18, 20242 yr Author As much as I love football I find myself getting bored more quickly these days. The Arsenal game wasn't great yesterday & started checking EFL scores on my phone just as much as watching the live match.

August 18, 20242 yr It would be interesting to see Chelsea's starting XI against City in their opening game of the season.
August 25, 20241 yr Author Well, the new PL table will soon be showing City & Arsenal as the top two teams, and Pool probably third. Spurs, Villa, Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle can fight for 4th ... outside chance Brighton.
September 1, 20241 yr Author Well, just 3 games in & the PL is already taking a familiar pattern. City looking good for their 5th title in a row & Haaland to get another golden boot. Arsenal & Liverpool just haven't strengthened enough.
September 21, 20241 yr Good win today for Liverpool after a disappointing result in their last league game.
September 22, 20241 yr Author Yep, they certainly got the job done in the first half. Luis Diaz knows where the back of the net is, and Darwin's goal was decent. I watched Spurs vs Brentford. Not a bad match.
September 29, 20241 yr Author This could be an interesting PL season title chase. 🏆 Hopefully at least 3 teams involved. City, Arsenal & Liverpool. Surely too soon for Chelsea with their defence, but maybe next season. Could Villa surprise? 🤔
September 29, 20241 yr Jackson hat-trick last week, Palmer gets 4 this week for Chelsea. They are clicking into gear.
October 15, 20241 yr Author My predictions for the PL games this weekend. Could be one time only ... let's see. 1 point for correct outcome & 2 pts for actual correct result. Tottenham 3 West Ham 1 Ipswich 1 Everton 1 Man Utd 2 Brentford 1 Fulham 1 Aston Villa 2 Newcastle 2 Brighton 1 Soton 1 Leicester 1 Bournemouth 0 Arsenal 2 Wolves 1 Man City 3 Liverpool 2 Chelsea 1 Anyone want to challenge and give their predictions? Could be interesting. ⚽️
October 21, 20241 yr Author Well I got 7 pts including 2 lucky exact predictions. No challengers is disappointing, but oh well.
November 2, 20241 yr Author Big weekend. More predictions: Newcastle 1 Arsenal 2 Liverpool 3 Brighton 1 Bournemouth 1 City 2 Spurs 3 Villa 2 Man Utd 1 Chelsea 2 Tough games to call. 🤔
November 9, 20241 yr Author Another interesting weekend of PL footie. My predictions: 🤔 Brighton 1 Man City 3 Liverpool 2 Villa 1 Man Utd 3 Leicester 1 Spurs 3 Ipswich 0 Chelsea 1 Arsenal 1
December 7, 20241 yr Author Really quiet football wise on here, but we could have a PL race involving 4 teams this season. That would be more interesting: Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Chelsea. ⚽️👍
December 21, 20241 yr Author Busy holiday period is upon us. Interesting to see how the table looks in a couple of weeks. Will it still be ... Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, City ??
