August 12, 20241 yr Author No but my phone has esim capability Google pixel 7a and I know how to install via qr code. The thing is they (AIS) offer al sorts of sims but I want just the pre paid one like I have had for the last 20 years.

Go to a shop and they can get you either a traditional sim card or the esim most likely. If you want to convert it it will likely take some processing time and paperwork at the shop too, but should not be a issue, as you then can have your old sim still inside the phone while also already having configured the new esim, which takes a while to be active with your older number (1-3 days).
