Trump Vows to Jail Those Who Engage in "Unscrupulous Behavior" During the 2024 Election

Former President Donald Trump, who has consistently pushed the false narrative that the 2020 presidential election was stolen through widespread fraud, recently escalated his rhetoric by threatening to imprison those he perceives as engaging in dishonest activities during the 2024 election.

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump reiterated his baseless claims of election fraud, accusing Democrats of "rampant Cheating and Skullduggery." He warned that the upcoming election would be monitored with "the closest professional scrutiny" and vowed to prosecute anyone involved in what he described as "unscrupulous behavior."

“The 2024 Election, where Votes have just started being cast, will be under the closest professional scrutiny and, WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again," Trump wrote.

He extended his warning to a broad group, stating, “Please beware that this legal exposure extends to Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials. Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels, unfortunately, never seen before in our Country.”

This threat marks one of the most comprehensive he has issued since announcing his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election, targeting not only his usual adversaries but also those indirectly involved with the election, such as donors and election workers. This move is reminiscent of his 2016 campaign, where he repeatedly threatened to jail his opponent, Hillary Clinton, though he typically refrained from attacking those on the periphery.

The impact of such rhetoric has already been felt by election workers, who have faced numerous threats following the 2020 election. Among them are Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Shaye Moss, whose lives were dramatically altered after Trump and his allies falsely accused them of fraud.

In the months leading up to the 2020 election, Trump began spreading unfounded warnings of election interference, which intensified after his loss and culminated in the violent attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, as his supporters attempted to prevent the certification of Joe Biden's victory. Trump has begun to make similar statements as the 2024 election approaches.

During a recent speech in Wisconsin, Trump emphasized the GOP’s focus on election integrity, suggesting that if Republicans manage to prevent Democrats from cheating, his campaign efforts would be largely unnecessary. “We gotta stop the cheating. If we stop that cheating, if we don’t let them cheat, I don’t even have to campaign anymore,” he said. “We’re going to win by so much. In the meantime, too big to rig, too big to rig.”

After the 2020 election, Trump and his allies filed numerous lawsuits in an attempt to overturn the results, all of which were unsuccessful. As the 2024 election draws near, some Democrats have expressed concerns that the GOP's legal maneuvers in key battleground states are intended to cast doubt on the results should Trump lose again.

After this statement he disqualified himself as a next President.

But almost half of the voters like this weirdo.

And then I'm thinking if half of America agree with this weirdo.....are they themselves even weirdos too?

A really strange country 😂

Can you show us which ones are the cases of massive voter fraud claimed during Presidential elections, as claimed by Trump? 🤣

Clicking on the details seems to show that Election Fraud is an equal opportunity crime!  The political party isn't always mentioned, but when it is, both Democrats and Republicans have been guilty.

He is likely to win. Harris can't even win some left wing polls.

Zuckerberg  recently admitted to aiding and abetting election interference,   re: Biden laptop.

But presumably you're still allowed to phone people and demand they find more votes, allow fake electors and demand that the VP doesn't confirm the vote......those things would be okay surely?

Polymarket, Trump is currently sitting at a 53% chance of winning, making him a slight favorite. Other platforms, like BetRivers and FanDuel, list him around a probability of about 50-52% .

65%.....mmmmm?

No need to read any further - worse than CNN in their <removed> behaviours.

Saw Trump's tweet - looking forward to his Administration charging and arresting those Democrats engaged in election interference and I hope they are given lengthy jail sentences.  No more nice guy politics from GOP - they are going to do the same as the Dems have been doing - use the Justice system - but legally and correctly. Dems have opened a can of worms by weaponising the DOJ Federally, and by the AGs in rabid <removed> States too. The blow back is going to be wonderful to watch - and that is the number one reason they are desperate for Trump not to be POTUS again.

The Dems made a new Law in 2022 so that Trump could be sued over the false allegations of a rape over 30 years ago, and they deliberately created it only to last until 2023 - what a joke.  I think some of the people involved in that debacle will be investigated very very closely by the Trump administration.

Those 'trumped' up charges in NY about business fraud were a total joke - every business overstates their asset value - and even if true it is only a minor misdemeanour at best - charging Trump with a Felony was deliberate election interference in an attempt to make him ineligible to run for POTUS again. I am certain those involved will be investigated and charged.

And so they should be....... and if proven they should receive appropriate jail sentences.

Democracy is very fragile and anyone convicted of an attempt to undermine democracy must be punished.

I'd be very surprised to find anyone on here disagreeing.

There was no large scale election fraud in 2020. The (small-time) instances of voter fraud that were uncovered were almost exclusively Republican voters trying to vote twice, or voting for a dead relative or something like that.
I agree these people should be prosecuted, but when this kind of voter fraud happens maybe 25-50 times on a total of over 150 million votes, it’s not going to make any difference.

I have no stake in the forthcoming election other than through my bookmaker with whom I placed a large bet some time ago. In that context I note that all polls are now moving in favour of Trump.

Tarrio? He's yet another tough-guy cosplayer, someone who loves running around pretending to be macho and dangerous but soft as butter inside. These guys and many of their followers are just victims of toxic masculinity, it's why they're misogynists and often closeted.
