After five days of extensive searching, the body of a missing man has been located near the Ku Dong dam in Bung Khla subdistrict, Muang district, Chaiyaphum. The man, a local resident, disappeared on September 24, after reportedly falling into a drainage pipe.

Search teams, equipped with a evacuator for weed removal, scoured the area extensively, covering a radius of over 8 kilometres from the point of disappearance. Efforts were focused around the dam area, where volunteers and officials worked tirelessly to locate the missing individual.

The body was discovered by search teams on September 28, approximately eight kilometres from the initial site where the man was last seen.

Authorities were promptly notified to conduct an investigation and autopsy before the body was prepared for religious rites.

Community members expressed their relief at the discovery, mourning the loss while also thanking the volunteers and search teams for their relentless efforts in the challenging task.
