What on earth would give you that idea?just because I feel trump is a traitor to the oath of office and the constitution doesn’t mean I burned my flag I displayed it from my home as per my usual custom.I did spend time in sober reflection of what trump has wrought in the name of my country and his disregard of the law.I certainly did that as any American should. -

Crime Pattaya Bolt Driver Threatened by Gun-Wielding Man
Pictures courtesy of SiamChon A late-night ride-hailing job took a terrifying turn for a 31-year-old Bolt driver in Pattaya, after a woman being pursued by an armed man leapt into his vehicle in a panic. The incident occurred around 02:09 on 7 July in Soi Arunothai 1, pattaya. Mr Arnon who drives for the Bolt ride-hailing platform, recounted the frightening encounter to and has filed a police report. According to Mr Arnon, he received a booking to pick up a passenger from Soi Arunothai 1. Upon arrival, however, he was not met by the person who had placed the booking. Instead, a small, dark-skinned woman appeared suddenly and jumped into his vehicle in distress, urgently pleading with him to drive off. Moments later, a man of medium build, dressed in a long-sleeved jacket and jeans, came running after her, brandishing a handgun. The assailant reportedly struck the vehicle with the weapon’s handle and demanded that the woman get out of the car, warning Mr Arnon not to drive away. Fearing for everyone’s safety, Mr Arnon lowered the window and asked the pair to talk calmly. However, their heated exchange continued. The woman then insisted he drive immediately and as the man briefly let his guard down, Mr Arnon seized the opportunity to speed away. He monitored the situation through his rear-view mirror but was not followed or fired upon. “I was genuinely afraid he’d shoot,” Mr Arnon said. “After dropping the woman off safely, I decided to warn others by sharing my experience with fellow riders and the media. We all need to stay alert.” Mr Arnon later reported the incident at Pattaya City Police Station, speaking with Pol. Lt. Col. Itthiporn Tangchuthaweesap. He urged authorities to identify and arrest the suspect before a more serious incident occurs. He also issued a warning to fellow ride-share drivers, particularly those accepting jobs at night, to exercise caution, especially if the person who enters the vehicle does not match the booking details. Police are now reviewing CCTV footage provided by Mr Arnon to aid in their investigation. Adapted by Asean Now from SiamChon 2025-07-08 -

Picture courtesy of Khaosod. A 43-year-old Australian man was found dead in a massage parlour on the island of Koh Samui, after staff initially believed he had fallen asleep following a massage session. Local police from Bo Phut Station received a report at approximately 07:00 on 7 July and responded to the scene at a massage establishment in Bo Phut subdistrict, Koh Samui district, Surat Thani province. The deceased was identified only as Christopher, a resident of Brisbane. Police officers, along with doctors from Koh Samui Hospital, attended the scene to examine the body and arrange for an autopsy. According to Ms Premyupa 47, a staff member who discovered the body, the man arrived at the massage parlour shortly after midnight, walking barefoot and alone. He requested a traditional oil massage, paying 400 baht for a one-hour session, which she completed as scheduled. After the massage, the man told Ms Premyupa he wished to rest on the massage bed. She left him briefly and returned about ten minutes later to find him asleep. As he appeared to be resting comfortably, she did not disturb him and went to attend to other clients. Ms Premyupa stated she could still hear the man snoring around 04:00. However, when she returned later to wake him, she discovered he was unresponsive. She immediately alerted other staff and called for emergency medical assistance. Medics arrived shortly after but confirmed the man had died. The body was found in one of four adjacent massage areas on the second floor of an building, each measuring approximately 2 by 3 metres and equipped with a bed. The deceased was lying diagonally across the bed, both legs hanging off the side. Police said the man had been holidaying in Thailand with his wife, but had visited the massage parlour alone from his nearby accommodation. Authorities are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to confirm the cause of death. At this stage, there are no signs of foul play. Adapted by Asean Now from Khaosod 2025-07-08 -
