So many times I visit a shop and these are the words I hear. Then I look around and often they have the product. Crazy

Agree even if you take a pattern in say of a screw driver, they will show you a hammer, 'tis the Thai way.......

If I am clever I always take a photo of the item, that helps but even then as was once mentioned its like some Greek Tragedy song.

Photo the item as described on say Lazada, and show it to the offending shop, with the price showing too.
