shotover
As an afterthought to a prior post, does anyone know the abbreviations designating gender (males and females) on Thai ID cards? I seem to recall a friend telling me that there are separate abbreviations for males, single females, and married females, but not sure.
meadish_sweetball
Not sure about the abbreviations, but you are right about the three alternatives: นางสาว Miss EDIT: Abbreviated น.ส. (Wikipedia list of abbreviations in Thai) นาง Mrs. นาย Mr. The list has nothing for นาง and นาย ... I cannot recall seeing them abbreviated on national ID cards, but I could be wrong.
