Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, daughter of the influential Pheu Thai leader Thaksin Shinawatra, is embroiled in a new legal skirmish aimed at her removal from office. The controversy stems from appointing Nattawut Saikua and Surapong Suebwonglee, both of whom have previous criminal convictions, to advisory roles.

Sukhothai Riverbank Collapse Claims One Life, Search Continues for Missing Child

An  incident occurred when a section of the Yom Riverbank in Sukhothai Province, collapsed, causing a house to be swept into the river. Three people were trapped under the debris. While one person was rescued, a 10-year-old girl remains missing.
