I'm sorry but I don't agree with her. As long as it is just a smack and not a beating I do not see anything wrong with this. I admit that I was never smacked by my parents but I was certainly smacked on my backside and my hand by teachers in grammar school. In one instance I upset one of my French master so much that he sent me to the headmaster to fetch the cane and by the time I returned to the class he was in such a rage the he pushed a whole row of desks towards the back of the classroom made me bend over the desk and then wacked me so hard he actually caused a cut across my backside. When I got home I showed it to my parents and they asked why he had hit me so hard I told them and their attitude was, well it serves you right and you deserved it. It certainly did me no harm. -

what does a year's worth of bank statements look like? i have a "pra-jam" bank book, and for years, it automatically makes 12 fixed deposits. there are no withdrawals, only the interest at the end of the term ... a one year statement will look exactly like my bank book ...!? -

Positive stroke for moving to Chiang Mai
At least in CM you don't have to go into the city as lots of villages outside in forested areas but in BKK you are forced to breathe where ever you go. Even with the trains going everywhere almost, just check out every intersection and roads all along the railway. These BKK roads have been overcrowded since at least 1972 when I first came here. Every year the govt says no floods in the city this year but every year it is still the same. Today, the "rim" of the Chao Praya is flooding but not from the runoff from the north but the weather folks say it is due to the high tide - meaning seas must be getting higher or BKK is sinking.
