Do you have further info on the real life Cambodia tax situation/changes? Cause in theory according to the cambodian tax laws you get taxed on your ww income instead of just the remittances like in TH. -

Indeed, a conversation where both sides agreed on their alternative world and where best buddies like you can meet on the road in a bar. Nothing was said that did not fit into Trumps fantasy world where he is the hero, like a dreaming 5 year old. Well. You vote him in and you'll be the first to have his wrath turn on you. Addiction
It definitely needs to be tapered gradually. There sre some medications that can help but I doubt a pharmacist will be aware of them (e.g. clonidone, which is not a pain medications but can help with withdrawal...and sometimes an SSRI Your pain is actually a withdrawal symptom). Needs to be done under medical supervision. Unfortunately although there are (very expensive) private rehab places in Phuket there do not seem to br any psychiatrists specislizing in addiction medecine. And that is what the OP really needs. I can recommend an excellent one in Bangkok. -

Trump and Rogan
WOW ... just wow ... I'm watching it now, and about 1 hr into it, and I almost feel bad, OK, I do feel bad, about wanting him to lose the election, and have 4 more years of high COLAs & back to 35+ THB to the USD. biden/harris administration has been very good, the best, for expats. 20% COLA over 4 yrs, and a ~20% increase on exchange rate, except the last few months. How anyone can watch him talk, then watch her talk, and even consider voting for her is just mind boggling. Embarrassing, that people would be that stupid. No matter who wins, I'll have very missed feelings about it All rational, and what's good for the USA aside .. 2024 ... HARRIS ... 2024 -

This is my America sadly
I just returned from one month in the US. Though I have some greet friends back there, who are leading fulfilling lives, most people are utterly humor less, and seem to be live to work, eat, and sleep. The cost of living has skyrocketed to the point where only those who own their homes, that are paid for, or those earning over $400,000 per year, seem to be in decent shape. It feels like a relatively joy less place, these days. So thrilled to be living here. The quality of life is higher on so many levels. At least for me.- 1
