This issue is a federal concern as we saw by Trump and McConnell alignment of the Supreme Court makeup.

The "alignment" wasn't about abortion rights but appointing judges who'd more closely adhere to the text of the Constitution.

Do I have American Rights or are any rights to be determined by the state in which I am resident or in which I travel?

Some of both, though states' rights are "American." Federal laws will supersede when constitutional. Both also have to be enforced, and enforced fairly, which the courts decide. Hence, Trump's lawfare cases are slowly winding their way through the state courts up to the federal level to be overturned.

Ferderal law will supersede when found by the SCOTUS, at the historical period, to be Constitutional Our history is replete with different findings at different times. Thus the 50 years of finding that Roe was constitutional only to be found unconstitutional by the Trump/McConnell Court. Yes, I am aware of the history of reversal of SCOTUS decisions over time. Yes, I am aware of state laws being enforced until the majority of the population demanded/supported the overturning of the state laws by changing the Constitution through Amendments.

It doesn't depend on the historical period. Leftists use the "changing times" to justify turning the Constitution into a Marxist manifesto.

The initial "finding" for Roe was absurd legislation from the bench, as Dems want today in their favor, rubber stamping Party legislation a la banana republic. Following the "finding," we then had mere "precedent."

When textualist judges came into the majority of the Roberts court, they found, correctly, no abortion "right" in the Constitution. As a political matter, in the absence of Federal law, it belongs to the states.

Contrary to Dem lies, Trump isn't against abortion and has no plans for any federal ban. The Republican Platform says nothing about a ban, and explicitly supports Social Security.

So, the Dems may proceed to legislate the matter or implement their plans to impeach Justices they don't like, or intimidate and harass them, or just pack the Court with leftist hacks such as those already on there. It's all on the leftist "democratic" agenda.
