In the early hours of December 9, police from Don Muang Police Station responded to a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a car on outbound Kamphaeng Phet 6 Road, near the Don Muang District Office. Medical examiners from Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital and Ruamkatanyu Foundation volunteers also attended the scene.

Upon arrival, officers found a gold coloured car, with a damaged front end parked in the far right lane, heading toward the Don Muang District Office. Nearby, a black motorcycle lay in ruins. The motorcyclist, identified as Mr. Amnat, 49, was found dead at the scene, suffering multiple injuries.

The car’s driver, who sustained injuries, was rushed to Mongkutwattana Hospital by Ruamkatanyu Foundation volunteers prior to the authorities’ arrival.

Eyewitnesses reported that the motorcyclist crossed into the opposite lane, resulting in a head-on collision with the car. Authorities are now investigating the cause of the collision.

The body of the deceased has been sent to Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital for an autopsy. Police will review nearby CCTV footage to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
