What amuses me is that no matter what title / acronym people use the fact is that gay people exist and in much bigger numbers than most realize, world wide. Trump and his gang seem to be hoping they can rid the USA of homosexual people in the military, in government and in daily life. They just show their ignorance. Also in the 'mix' is that folks like trump, and all in his party, just don't know who might be gay in their family, their company, amongst their friends, this generation, previous generations or next generation, whether out or not out, and probably in their ignorance have never thought about it. Changing the acronym back to a previous version is also showing their ignorance. -

Drunk Myanmar Man Beaten to Death After Knocking on Woman's Door & Requesting Sex
Picture from responders. A 25-year-old Myanmar national succumbed to his injuries after being brutally beaten by a group of his compatriots in a boarding house in Bo Win, Si Racha. The assault occurred after he drunkenly knocked on a woman's door and asked to sleep with her. Emergency responders from the Pure Yeang Tai Rescue Foundation rushed to the scene, where they found the victim-identified only as Mr. A, unconscious with severe injuries. He had a deep one-inch gash on his forehead, bruising around his eyes, and multiple contusions across his body. Rescue workers performed CPR before urgently transporting him to Laem Chabang Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. According to police investigations, Mr. A had been heavily intoxicated and was knocking on multiple doors in the building. When he encountered a room occupied by a Myanmar woman, he allegedly requested to sleep with her. Frightened, the woman immediately locked her door, but the man continued to peer through the gap under the door. Feeling threatened, she called a group of five to six Myanmar men for help. Upon arrival, the group wasted no time in dragging Mr. A outside and severely beating him until he lost consciousness. The building's caretaker then alerted the police and emergency services. Bo Win Police Station is reviewing CCTV footage and working to identify those involved in the attack. Authorities have vowed to take legal action against all responsible parties. -- 2025-02-08 -

Thatchai Pitanilabut has voiced concerns that if unchecked, these scammers might shift operations to Cambodian provinces bordering Thailand, such as Battambang and Pailin. Thus, Paradorn's call for Thaksin to act is not just about utilising his influence but prioritising public interest over potential personal or commercial gains. Amid this backdrop, critics have scrutinised Thaksin's involvement, suspecting his motivations could include safeguarding financial interests tied to Thai-Cambodian ventures. Notably, a memorandum of understanding, signed during his time as Prime Minister, concerns joint developments of natural resources in contentious Gulf areas. This has sparked speculation about his willingness to maintain these ventures at the public's cost. In urging Thaksin to aid in the dismantling of these scams, the spotlight remains on how effectively political clout can be wielded against transnational crime. Without concrete action, the integrity of Thai-Cambodian cooperation remains at stake, and the pressure mounts for Thaksin to demonstrate that public interest is paramount.
