Thai Post EMS to the USA cost 3x times the cost of EMS from the USA to Thailand

Check for yourself. Compare the price of the last package you sent to the USA using Thai Post, by going on Parcel Monkey .com site and getting an online quote to ship the same package to the USA using their EMS.

 

I shipped a 13 kg package from the USA to Thailand using EMS and it cost me $90 and then back to the USA using Thai Post EMS and and it cost me $300

 

Thai Post is screwing over Thai folks who want to sell products in the USA.

They don't have "EMS" in America.

 

USPS Priority International mail starts at $59.50 for an envelope.

ps: usps does not have EMS.

I looked it up on the USPS rate schedule. USPS has priority express international parcel service. The closest eqivalent to EMS. We were talking about the rate from US to Thailand, I thought.
