A more effective measure would be to cease issuing UK visas to all Pakistani citizens, including family members, until they accept all deportees.   The uproar this would cause in Pakistan wo

  • Do both, why are we giving the enemy money in the first place?

  • We pay millions to Pakistan and have welcomed many Pakistan immigrants to the UK. As a thank you hundreds of sexual offenders from the Pakistan communities have been found guilty of sexually molesting

If Pakistan won't take them, put them in jail till Pakistan does. I wouldn't complain if they did so.

I agree but the UK is too woke for that.

The absence of an extradition treaty with Pakistan doesn’t help matters.

Pakistan has a nuclear programme, I'm unsure why any country would send aid to a country who can afford that.

The US sends aid to many countries with nuclear programs. UK only to Ukraine, Nigeria and Pakistan.

I think you’ve mistaken the sex offenders who fled to Pakistan with the sex offender who was released from prison in 2014 and has still not been deported and claims he has renounced his Pakistani citizenship.

I don't think so. It's so long ago, so these guys are stateless.

Hey hey. Let's not give the bored old millionaire who bought Twitter for self gratification this win. Let's not get freedom into our politics, and continue to protect our occasionally rapey citizens issued from immigration. After all, they only behaved this way because the failure of the British education system

You can’t really blame Pakistan for not wanting to take in rapists.

They should be in UK prisons for crimes committed in the UK.

Yes, and then deported.

The Pakistani diaspora in the UK is estimated at around 1.6 million people, making it one of the largest minority communities in the UK.

The diaspora plays a key role in fostering cultural ties, remittances, and political influence.

Let the diaspora send money to Pakistan then. I refer only to British taxpayers money.

Or sent to Australia. Wait. That's 200 years too late

Anything to say on topic?

The Aussies deport all the NZ crims from Australia post jail time. Strangely, considering Pakistan's stance, we can't refuse them.

I am scratching my head at what labour would say to protect the perpetrators and pandering to the Muslim community.

It's funnier than adding substance

You can't refuse them because you're allies, aka friendly nations. Is Pakistan an ally? I hope they are.

The UK Government has this to say on the matter:

“Pakistan is an important regional and strategic partner to the UK. Our partnership is founded on culture, shared history, diplomacy, development, security, trade, and the economy. The 1.6 million-strong Pakistani diaspora in the UK and 100,000 British and dual nationals in Pakistan bestows deep personal ties. “

I don't see much shared culture with Pakistan's Sharia law.

You mean the people who currently don’t receive benefits?!

Who do you continue with the gaslighting?

You know full well that illegals receive benefits such as housing, healthcare etc.

It costs Britain billions.

Hardly.

The Pakistani government would pocket the vast majority of it before any of it filters down to the people who really need it.

We could, and should, question why a country which maintains large armed forces, spends huge amounts of money on modern military equipment, including a nuclear weapons program, should receive "aid" from the UK.

Oh and perhaps I should add, actively persecutes Christians!

The UK  really needs to revisit its priorities.

A separate issue, but one that  you are  correct on. Too many passports of convenience from pakistan and Bangladesh.

The trade is not  really in the UK's advantage, with imports that are easily replaced  by other sources, many of which have labour and environmental policies more in harmony with the UK values. Nor is the transfer of large amounts of capital out of the UK to Pakistan to the benefit of the UK. In effect the population invests in Pakistan and not the UK.

A large portion of the Pakistani population is under employed or on social benefits.  IMO it is to be expected when approx. 50% are incestuous family structures (1st cousin marriages).

The politically incorrect reality;

- between April 2008 and March 2022, people in Pakistani and Bangladeshi households were consistently the most likely out of all ethnic groups to live in low income households, both before and after housing costs

- people in white British households were consistently the least likely to live in low income households, before and after housing costs

https://www.ethnicity-facts-figures.service.gov.uk/work-pay-and-benefits/pay-and-income/people-in-low-income-households/latest/

The interesting aspect is that the one group who are most vociferous in trying to impose their values and political views on others are the Bengali and Pakistani communities. They are not particularly well assimiliated as other ethnic groups are.

That's why they grant them asylum status before throwing free housing and cash at them 😄.

They receive free hotels.   That is a benefit.

They receive free money (called financial support in full disinformation fact).  That is a benefit.

They receive free healthcare.  That is a benefit.

If they received none of those things the UK would be a much less appealing country for illegal immigrants.

That is where you, me, and everyone else is going wrong 😀😀😀

In the minds of the truly deluded, these things are actually free, and therefore cannot be classed as a benefit.

That is why you, me, and everyone else. Can see the truth in the statement " Go woke, go broke "

Nothing to do with discrimination in the workplace :cheesy:

Didn't Pakistanis' former Empress, Victoria, marry her first cousin, Prince Albert?

As if this has anything to do with employment rate.

The UK's commitment to granting asylum is not a political choice but a humanitarian obligation based on international agreements, like the 1951 Refugee Convention. Do you oppose this?

Similar things happen in Thailand with former Chinese.

They do not renounce their Pakistani citizenship they maintain duel nationality even if born inhe UK

The are a high number of UK Pakistanis who are disabled/retarded  due to their family inbreeding , where first cousins marry and reproduce We are talking about the present NOT the past

I’m not sure that’s entirely correct.

Perhaps, like most children born to immigrants in the UK, they have the right to claim the birth nationality of their parent(s).

For people of Irish descent this extends to grandchildren/grandparents.
