Motorbikes on Beach "Walkway"
People actually going to City Hall to complain about bikes on beach road footpath 😆 I think you may be living in the wrong country if that's got so riled up. I walk beach road path nearly every morning and it's a lot less bikes than say 5-10 years ago. There may be the odd random, but most of the bikes I see are carrying food to the beach chair groups and they seem careful -

Great Day Trip excursions in the Krabi & Phuket region of Thailand
I spent 8 days in Oa Nang last July. I almost went on one of these tours until I saw people coming back beet red. Your getting sun from above and reflection off the water as well. The boats have canvas roofs but you spend time in the water too. If I ever go back I will be better prepared and would definitely take a tour. -
