Visited home, Texas, in November last year. Before I was to fly back, I sent two boxes of food and things to myself back here. One in the third week of November and one December 2. The first got here about a week after I returned on December 8, first to the local Post Office and then here. Total time about 3 weeks, which is normal. The second was delayed I'm sure because of the holiday season but, the second still hasn't arrived and I'll show the tracking. December 2, dropped off in Austin TX. December 7 arrived in Chicago. No tracking information afterwards so I filed for a missing package on December 12, as the package should have reached Bangkok on December 8th and gone through customs a couple of days later. Got an email saying the package was (back?) in Chicago the 17th. The next email it arrived in Puerto Rico on January 8th??? Why go to Puerto Rico when all the packages I've ever sent, along with others I knew, go through Chicago and leave O'Hare airport going overseas? It left Puerto Rico the 12th and arrived in Miami the 17th. It then left Miami on International flight the 18th. Today I get an email saying it arrived in Zurich, Switzerland the 21st and then departed the 22nd, with this update.........Your item departed a transfer airport in METROPOLITAN AREA, ZURICH, SWITZERLAND on January 22, 2025 at 6:36 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination............. Why it's been in three different points instead of going straight to Bangkok from Chicago I don't know. If there was a problem with the label they made it shouldn't have had more than one transfer with the following updates. Has anyone ever had this kind of problem using USPS? .7 weeks and counting.
