Thai mosquito repellant - your experience?
That one works for me also, although I have always bought the cream rather than the spray. No idea if the spray works as well or better than the cream? -

Two Teenage Girls Killed in Collision in Sattahip
The road carnage here mostly victimises motorcyclists, who have no protection of a steel cage and seatbelts/airbags. Proportion of motorcyclists in most Western countries much smaller. Cars here also much more expensive, and wages lower. Until most road users are car drivers, the situation will be unchanged. -

Motorbike Crash Claims One Life and Leaves Another Severely Injured
Picture from responders. A high-speed motorbike crash on a bridge in Bang Sao Thong, Samut Prakan, left one rider dead and another critically injured late night on 26 January. Emergency responders rushed both victims to nearby hospitals, but one succumbed to his injuries despite extensive efforts to save him. At 23:30 Lieutenant Thanakorn Rattanavilai, Deputy Investigator at Bang Sao Thong Police Station, was alerted to a motorcycle in collision with a concrete utility pole on a bridge near Baan Ua Arthorn Muang Mai Bang Phli Project 4, Moo 15, Bang Sao Thong Subdistrict. Police and rescue volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation attended the scene. Upon arrival, they found two severely injured men. The rider, identified as Mr Narusorn Khuno, 25, suffered a fractured right leg. He was given first aid before being transported to Bang Na 2 Hospital. The passenger, Mr Chupong Promthep, 25, was unconscious, with no pulse and had significant head injuries, bleeding profusely. Rescuers from Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital attempted CPR and rushed him to the hospital, but he later died from his injuries. The crash site revealed a heavily damaged red Kawasaki Z800cc motorbike without a license plate. The front of the bike was completely wrecked, with the fuel tank detached and the vehicle overturned by the roadside. An eyewitness, identified as Mr J.R., reported seeing the motorbike traveling at high speed from Baan Ua Arthorn Muang Mai Bang Phli Project 4 toward Bang Phli Industrial Estate. As the motorbike descended the bridge, the rider lost control, swerved, and struck the pavement edge before crashing violently into a utility pole. Both the driver and passenger were thrown off the bike, landing unconscious on the road. The witness immediately called for emergency assistance. Lieutenant Thanakorn inspected the scene and ordered the damaged motorbike to be taken to Bang Sao Thong Police Station for further examination. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the crash. -- 2025-01-27 -
