Acole Posted yesterday at 10:00 AM Posted yesterday at 10:00 AM Hello darlings-- I see that "Thai Visa Expert" is the favorite visa agent on this website but I'm looking for an established immigration law firm in Bangkok area as my situation is a bit complex. I'd want to have a visa lawyer in BKK for long-term that can help me regularly with both retirement and family visa issues. The main ones I see promoted are Siam Legal, they did respond quickly to my email but I'd rather have a farang managed law firm based on past experiences in LOS.... just personal preference, thank you for any recommendations.

Vague. 11 minutes ago, Acole said: I'd rather have a farang managed law firm based on past experiences in LOS.... I would have thought the opposite. 2
Acole Posted yesterday at 10:23 AM Author Posted yesterday at 10:23 AM Child involved, apologies. Looking for help with multiple visas and I assume a lawyer can handle it better long-term. I do get what you're saying, I think farang-Thai partnership may be best...

Note in recent times there are additional visa options. Namely LTV, DTV etc. Some, eg DTV provide for non Thai wife and kids.
Maestro Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I don't think there is such a thing as "licenced visa agents" in Thailand. There was this recent topic on this forum: https://aseannow.com/topic/1348282-do-you-need-a-lawyer-top-5-lawyers-in-thailand/ 1 The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place. — George Bernard Shaw

Thanks mate-- looks like a good option. I have seen both Baan Thai and Integrity Legal recommended as American-partner law firms with honest rep... First time for me to hear about Silk Legal, thank you as well. 1

At least, more than the fly-by-night agents that often scam and run off....

" I'd want to have a visa lawyer in BKK for long-term that can help me regularly with both retirement and family visa issues." You could not be more vague. As a result you have received google replies regarding law firms eg Siam Legal etc Suggest you contact them directly as your needs are not outlined.
