nonsense ....  I consider a persons authentitcy by where they were born and raised.  Not by your list.

I consider a persons authentitcy by there original birth and heritage,  not a black french man or a coloured British guy.    I don't care for your list ...  same as many others don't

'my list' is not actually my list its 'a list' of shared nationality-origins within any single nation - there is no question of it, the list is factual information.

On the other hand, your 'consideration' is just something you think and open to 'your' interpretation, so its something personal to you rather than anything real.

You may not 'consider' Chinese-Thai's to be authentic Thai's - but the fact that they have a Thai Passport means the Law does... the same with Albanian-French etc...  Or, Nigerian-British etc..

Its up to you what you think of course, and its irrelevant if you don't care for my 'accurate list'... but it is relevant that you are incorrect if you are assuming whatever 'you' think has any official or 'authentic' meaning beyond your own internal thoughts.

but how many Thai's do the BiB try and stop at these check points ???

Many times more Thais are stopped at checkpoints around Thailand everyday than foreigners. The vast majority of checkpoints would hardly have a foreigner going through them.

i am always waved through while the Thais on motorcycles are stopped.

To think that more foreigners than Thais pay these fines or bribes daily in Thailand makes me think you are suffering from delusional paranoia.

anyway cute you are also apologizing for the French.

Perhaps in area's outside of the main tourist hubs...   I don't think there is a general pattern that fits the whole nation.

For example, when driving or riding in Bangkok - the Police are simply not interested in me, I have hardly ever been stopped at a check-point - the same can very likely be said for other area's away from tourist footfall, smaller towns etc.

But, there are a lot of comments from posters who live in area's such as Pattaya and Phuket which makes it obvious that the police are more 'calculated' in how they can best profit from their check-points.

Its obvious they've worked out that many 'tourists' in these area's do not have the correct licenses etc - its a very quick money earner - if YOU don't think this to be true Malcy the delusional Thai-apologist in you is once again unmistakable, no surprise there.
