Pattaya. Where?

Must confess, due to health reasons, I wasen't able to travel much, so the last time I was in Pattaya was 7 years ago. Now Doctor says "you are healed and you can go everywhere you want to". How nice. Used to stay on Soi Post Office/Soi Yamato for years on holiday.It always felt like a home away from home.

 

Following posts here, I realise that things have changed in Pattaya in many ways. So I wonder where I should stay, enjoying harmless babblings with bar ladies resulting in "close contact" later on. Limiting financial female favours to 1000 Bht per encounter or less, depending on time involved.

 

Friend of mine, still living on Soi Post Office for many years claims that females on Beach Road are mostly "overweight and plain ugly", as is the rest of the female bar employees nearby. Same same. Cheaper on Beach Road. Use condoms in every situation his advice.

 

Overall, he insists, that the quality of female services is not inceasing by the amount of financial compensastion. Therefore I venture to say, that I am likely to stay in my "guesthouse" on Soi Post Office again, as it is close to Beach Road.

 

Unless some of you have better suggestions.

I do travel quite often to Pattaya but don't go to bars and yes the girls are not what they used to be most of them are overweight and not really good-looking.

Have you looked at the latest YouTube videos of beach road freelancers? many posted every day, ladies look better than ever

 

Stay in soi post office as before, hasn't changed much in 7 years

When was the last time you were in Pattaya? i thought you were struggling to walk so haven't travelled for years, you said before

Thailands flesh spots built their dubious reputation on cheap sex with young affable women who were fresh from the provinces and not too worldly wise.

Their clients were mostly travelers, Americans on R&R and a few young resident lotus eaters.

 

Completely different now. Sex with a harder nosed worldly wise woman who is not especially cheap. Condoms are the norm rather than the exception and the clients are 30 - 40 years older reinventing the wheel.

 

It's past it's hay day but those that  live or holiday there couldn't care less. Where else can they go ? No need to integrate or learn Thai. Perfect for some.

Exactly that. I had a good time the first 15 years or so, and now I can't care less about what is happening in Pattaya city.

I live 15km outside Pattaya, and am single, but if I "need" something I get served,. Furthermore, I don't want to be seen dead in WS or beach road

Try a few of the apps.  Might be easier than crawling Beach Road.  A lot of the Breach Road girls are on the apps anyway.

I still had some e-mail adresses from ladies I used to know. So, I wrote them. Most of them replied. Agewise they are now "mama-san's". But they assured me, that they know "many young ladies" that would very much like to meet me. (within or below my financial parameters).

 

It was mentioned, that they remember me as a very friendly "no problem" Farang. According to them, an increasing number of "problem Farangs" are making the industry more unstable and more problematic for free lancers. In short: A "friendly Farang, vouched for by a Thai mama-san, can expect a "discount".

 

So, me the "friendly no problem Farang" is pleased. It just goes to prove, that keeping in contact with old aquaintances can come in very handy.

For me too, it became a "home away from home". I think I will be staying on soi post office again. In a new corner, it would probably take up half of my holiday time, just to find out "what is what".

Yeah most in the 45 to 50kg range on TF will entertain 1200.....200 for a bolt to and from my place is criminal but it is what it is.
