The sky isn't falling but parts of it are for many dealing with SS now post Musk. Since when is smashing things to pieces a rational solution to fix things? Actually it isn't. It is a large part of the federal spending though. That's why Musk is going after it as he wants more funding for more tax cuts for himself and other oligarchs.

There's people over 140yo collecting SS, illegal aliens collecting social security disability, also legit social security numbers used by companies that employ illegal aliens to try and fool E-verify. A top to bottom audit is needed. It's pretty simple, you either support DOGE or you support corruption.

If theres zero people over 140yo collecting SS then surely you wouldn't mind us having a look then. You admitted I was right about the illegals paying into the system, you are also right they won't be able to collect from SS in the future. Thats breaking the law. So again I ask. Sure there will be some fraud going on, but the question still remains, if it is so bad, why hasn't anyone been charged yet?

I think Musk / DOGE is much more corrupt than any agencies that he is smashing. He's clearly conflicted. If you don't see that, sorry, you're blind.

I'm for rational surgical style reform of government agencies. The goal is good government and serving the people better. Governments aren't businesses like X.
