A woman returning from a night out lost her life in a motorcycle crash after losing control and crashing into a power pole in Chonburi.

At approximately 03:45 on 3 April, police from Don Hua Lo Police Station received a report of a fatal motorcycle crash on Phai Klang Don Road, Moo 2, Don Hua Lo subdistrict, Mueang district, Chonburi. Emergency responders from Traikhunatham Rescue Foundation were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, officials found a black Yamaha Fino motorcycle (registration from Chonburi) damaged and lodged against a power pole. Next to the wreckage lay a young woman, estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old, wearing jeans and a t-shirt. She had sustained a severe head injury, with blood visible from her mouth, nose, and ears. Despite immediate CPR and emergency medical intervention, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Shortly after, a friend of the deceased arrived at the scene and informed authorities that the woman had recently returned from working abroad. Earlier that night, she had been drinking at a nightclub before deciding to ride home intoxicated, ultimately leading to the fatal crash.

Police have taken the victim’s friend in for further questioning and will review CCTV footage from the area to determine the exact circumstances of the accident. The case is currently under investigation.

Looks like she fell asleep, nearly 4am.

Wasn't travelling that fast.

I'd say no helmet, probably would have survived if wearing a helmet.

Sad, so many riders dying needlessly.

I'm sure her family are in grief, so sad.

A typical Thai purchased cheap thin layer of plastic helmet with Styrofoam inside she would be dead anyway with that impact.
