Man Dies After Motorbike Crashes into Concrete Post and Plunges into Fish Pond

A 28-year-old man lost his life after being electrocuted while cleaning BBQ grill tops, at his restaurant in Rangsit, Pathum Thani. The incident occurred at around 16:00 on 6 April, at a grill restaurant located in Soi Rangsit Phiroam, Klong 1 Subdistrict, Klong Luang District.

Young Man Jumps into Chao Phraya River After Friend’s Ordination Party

A 20-year-old vocational graduate from Lopburi province is missing after leaping into the Chao Phraya River from Ang Thong Bridge, following a friend’s ordination celebration. The man, identified only as “San,” reportedly parked his motorbike on the bridge, placed his keys on the railing, and jumped into the river in full view of stunned onlookers.

Quake Can't Dampen Songkran Joy: 72% of Thais Plan to Travel

The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce reports that 72.1% of Thais plan to travel during the Thai New Year celebration, which officially begins on Sunday, April 13, and runs through Wednesday, April 16.

Tremors Shake Chiang Mai & Mae Hong Son

Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son districts were rocked by sixteen minor tremors on Monday morning. These little shakes, measuring 1.9 to 3.8 on the Richter scale, were most prominent in Wiang Haeng, Chiang Mai, and Pai, Mae Hong Son. Though many went unnoticed, a few larger ones made their presence felt among residents.
