    WASHINGTON, April 18 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed on Friday that Deputy Treasury Secretary Michael Faulkender has been appointed acting Internal Revenue Service commissioner, replacing longtime IRS career official Gary Shapley in the temporary role.
