Foreign Man Dies After Falling from Third-Floor Staircase in Patong

Emergency rescue workers rushed to the scene early morning on 1 May, after a foreign man fell from a third-floor staircase in Patong, Kathu district, Phuket. Despite attempts to save his life, the man was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Fake TDAC Website Emerges as New System Debuts in Thailand

On the very day Thailand launched its new Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system for foreign visitors, a fake website has surfaced, aiming to deceive travellers. This fraudulent site poses as an official third-party service, charging users a US$10 processing fee, whereas the legitimate TDAC service is free.

KNLA Seizes Over Six Million Meth Pills Bound for Thailand

The Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) intercepted a large smuggling operation, seizing more than six million methamphetamine pills destined for Thailand. The bust took place on April 30 in Hpa-An province, Karen State, Myanmar, near the Thai border across from Mae Sariang district, Mae Hong Son. Two suspects were detained in connection with the operation.
