Local sourcing has some items taste differently. The same kind of tomatoes, for example, can taste different in Thailand than they do in the US. Thailand might use different additives to those same ingredients to follow Thai tastes. So true, some countries do use additions to the basics to adapt to local tastes. Quality does come from preparation though, as two people can make the same pizza using the same ingredients and have it taste differently. -

There is no way to tell who might win an election this far out. Even if he could run (which clearly he can not and he knows it) who would win depends on so many things but primarily (some smart guy once said it) "it's the economy stupid". People vote based on job security and standard of living. All the other issues matter to an extent but really that's it.
