HI, can anyone help me out?

The door on our apartment has one of those locks that allows the occupant to open the door very slightly to see who is outside, but protects this occupant from the visitor pushing the door open. (So its very much like most hotel doors).

Well, this lock got broken and I need to replace it, but can I find a decent shop in BKK that sells a good range of locks and catches? NO!! I can find shops that will copy keys etc ,but no decent lock-shop.

Such a shop must exist in BKK. Can anyone help out? I'm down in Silom but can travel. GF is terrified that we are both going to be raped in our beds
