Hi, I want to buy a motorcycle in Thailand, can I register it in my name if I don't have a long term visa, if not, can I register it in my daughter's name, she's Thai but she's only 17

Yes you can  and it is the easiest option,as you will struggle to get the required documents to register it in your name on a short term visa.
