This initiative came into full swing on Sunday, when Police Lieutenant Colonel Phanupong Nimsuwann led a team of traffic officers in a decisive sweep against vendors obstructing roadways. The operation included stopping vendors, checking identification, and issuing on-the-spot fines for those breaking the law. This approach underscores the police department’s no-nonsense stance on addressing the traffic disruptions caused by these vendors. The crackdown has sparked mixed reactions among residents.
