July 12, 2025Jul 12 Greetings! I am looking for new batteries for our off-grid solar system, something like 280Ah 24V LiFePO4 batteries would be convenient. Does anyone have any recommendations where to find/buy them in the area of Chiang Mai ? Please do not recommend Lazada or any other Internet Warehouse, i have researched them at length already, i'd like to buy locally. Thank you very much!
July 12, 2025Jul 12 1. Sato-Power (Chiang Mai area) They stock LiFePO₄ batteries for solar setups, including 12 V 36–120 Ah prismatic types, priced from ~฿3,650–฿9,100 before VAT . Great if you’re building a home backup or off-grid project. 2. Baan Lithium (“บ้านลิเธียม”) A Chiang Mai‑based specialist in battery packs for forklifts, solar systems, EV carts, etc. They offer custom-built LiFePO₄ solutions. Contact via phone (089‑190‑7095) or email . 3. Evoltech Battery Shop This store offers LiFePO₄ packs aimed at electric bike and e‑vehicle users (48 V, 60 V, 72 V packs, etc.) with prices from ~฿165 (single cell) to ~฿14,000 (48 V 30 Ah pack) . 🌍 Online/B2B Import Options If you need cells or big packs (e.g., 3.2 V 3,600 mAh IFR26650 cells), some online vendors are connecting to Chiang Mai via bulk shipping—minimum order typically 200 pcs .
July 12, 2025Jul 12 There's nowhere in CM selling 280ah cells. Prismatic cells haven't been made for 10 years, all worn out and second hand.
July 12, 2025Jul 12 Author Thank you for your answers, very helpful already! Our place only has a tiny off-grid system, so we need only one or two 24V batteries in the size of 200-300 Ah, that's enough for our needs. Therefore, any kind of cell-configuration that does the job would be ok.
