Education is definitely political. In the UK over 90  infants were thrown out of nursery school for the crime of transphobia!

Gay rights is being taught in schools but Christians who complain because it's against their faith are visited by the police and charged with a hate crime.

Over 45 thousand people have been charged and some imprisoned for so called hate crimes.

"In the UK over 90  infants were thrown out of nursery school for the crime of transphobia!"

You really need to provide links when making such astonishing claims. Or was it perhaps a joke? In that case, well done!

PS, Infants don't attend nursery school.

as the States take care of the actual education

For the so-called Red States most cannot "take care" of their citizens' education without substantial federal funding. Funding that in part comes from federal taxes on mostly Blue states.

Read in the US news today......55,000 teaching vacancies.......teachers are walking away from this debacle.

Good riddance

If they clean out the indoctrinators and the incompetent teachers whose kids never learn to read and write, maybe they'll attract decent educators who refused in the past to put up with the failing system.   They may get back some of the qualified teachers who quit because they wouldn't go to gender sensitivity training or other nonsense like that.

Edit:  Besides, there have always been a lot of teacher vacancies.  We'd need a lot more information to know if it's getting better or worse.  After the dust settles.  Not while the screaming lefties are making a huge deal of leaving because of the syndrome.

It's kinda like telling a stranger they have a big booger hanging 'out their nose.  Nobody really wants to hear that.  But it's the kind thing to do.

But the person in question is only making assumptions about the "booger". And you know what they say about assumptions, that it makes an a** out of you.

I really feel for democrats. They had the perfect scheme to import vast numbers of voters. Sane voices were whacked down with the predictable "racist" or "far right" insults. And they almost got away with it, if it weren't for that meddling guy in the whitehouse.

Thank you to the meddling guy in the whitehouse for stopping the electoral shennanigans.

How to make a dumb country even dumber?!? :cheesy: The present president with an IQ of 0.0001 (being generous here!) and an EQ which is completely absent...

Sad to say the impact teachers have on a kids progress is minimal compared to the driving force behind the kids......their parents.

Testimony to that is the outstanding success of Chinese kids in UK costal towns, where the British kids fail miserably and the Chinese kids shine.

What could possibly go wrong….we have the pro wrestling world matriarch in charge……just beggers belief…personally I think it’s a bid to privatize education and control the curriculum.

And what good has the education in America been after the Dept. of Education was created.  I think you are a good example of the what our Dept. of Education creates.

May I suggest some education of your own on the issue.

You could start here. It's an excellent read.

He might have got as far as a trip to Disney Land.

Dinsdle for the record you can make money (and go bankrupt many times ) by being a criminal instead of educated.

magictoad, yes TACO did get the majority votes due to MAGA and as TACO said he loves MAGA Voters because they are uneducated. He has stated this publicly on many occasions. Hope your not MAGA?

Love it

If they could only eliminate ministry education, obec, tct here that would be an excellent start.

My posting history shows I have posted many links to articles and videos/interviews by the great Thomas Sowell. I am a HUGE fan of both him and his work.

Perhaps you could improve yourself by clicking on them rather than making glib, ignorant remarks?

So teachers quitting in droves is a good thing? So how would you replace them, or is education perhaps an overrated thing?

If its all the ones that think teaching kids to be trans, gay or how to become far left activists then yes, schools are for education not for the teachers pet projects & their extreme views, the kids are becoming more mentally  ignorant by the day with the pathetic, woke  teachers these days.
