I’m planning some renovation work on a townhouse in Chiang Mai and am looking for reliable, reasonably priced contractors for the following:

• Plumbing

• Electrical work

• General building/renovation, including a new concrete slab extension, brick walls, balcony extension, countertop formwork, cabinetry, and more.

If you’ve had positive experiences with local tradespeople, I’d really appreciate any recommendations or contact details. Also, any tips on what to watch out for when hiring contractors here would be very helpful.

I’m happy to work with both Thai- and English-speaking workers. Ideally, I’m looking for contractors who can come inspect the job, provide a clear quote, and stick to their pricing.
