A road crash in Chachoengsao province has left two brothers dead after the motorcycle they were riding was struck by a car. The young female driver of the vehicle was left in shock and in tears at the scene, while colleagues of the victims, who worked at a local convenience store, broke down upon arriving.

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 16:30 on 24 July on Highway 3076, near the Rural Roads Office in Khlong Takrao Subdistrict, Tha Takiap District. Police from Tha Takiap Police Station and local rescue personnel quickly arrived at the scene.

Emergency responders found the two deceased men, brothers who worked as a store manager and staff member at a convenience store, lying in the middle of the road. A motorcycle lay nearby, damaged. The vehicle involved in the collision, a white Ford Everest SUV, had sustained damage to its front end.

The driver of the SUV, a 25-year-old woman, was visibly distraught and crying uncontrollably. She told police that she vaguely remembered the motorcycle appearing to veer out of a curve, crossing into her lane before crashing into the front of her vehicle.

Colleagues of the deceased, who had rushed to the scene upon hearing the news, were seen in emotional distress, crying as they identified the bodies of their friends.

Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash. The bodies were taken to hospital.
