On July 31, 2025, 23-year-old Phatcharaphon, whose surname has been withheld, made headlines after filing a report about a joyful encounter with a stray dog. As he made his way to work, Phatcharaphon came across a white dog peacefully snoozing on a pedestrian bridge on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road. The simple yet endearing sight prompted him to officially record his happiness at the police station.

 

The document, adorned with Thailand's Garuda emblem, read: “Phatcharaphon reported to the investigator on July 31 at around 8am, after a refreshing seven to eight hours of sleep. He showered and left for work at Thung Song Hong Police Station, encountering a blissfully sleeping dog along the way. This sight brought him joy, so he reported it as evidence of happiness.”

 

Interestingly, the report was accepted by Acting Police Lieutenant Phatcharaphon himself, who appears to share the same name as the reporter. This peculiar coincidence suggests that the officer might have been reporting his own experience. Neither Phatcharaphon nor the station has provided further comments on the unusual document.
