As for the former VP, Biden tried to extend her SS Protection longer than is legally mandated. Trump reversed the decision and returned her to what is normal and legal for ALL former vice presidents.  Nothingburger.

Pence was given twelve months of Secret Service protection — extended by Biden — maybe because Trump implicitly promoted that he be hung.
 

With Trump’s playbook of division and violence, Biden was right to extend Harris’s protection to 18 months.
