US President Donald Trump has emerged to quell swirling rumours about his health, branding them "fake news." The buzz began after a quiet week away from the public eye, triggering speculation that culminated in some outlandish claims of his demise.

Trump, 79, addressed the swirling gossip during an appearance at the Oval Office, brushing aside the chatter with trademark aplomb. “I’ve heard about all this. It’s sort of crazy,” he told Fox News’s Peter Doocy. “I did numerous news conferences last week, all successful, and then I didn’t do any for two days, and suddenly, they think something is wrong.”

Over the weekend, Trump was busy and active, visiting his club near the Potomac River, a fact he emphasised to reporters. The president’s public disappearance was noted online, especially after images of his bruised hands caught attention earlier this summer. The bruising was explained by the White House as chronic venous insufficiency, a condition causing swelling and bruising.

The media's emphasis on Trump's health stands in stark contrast to former President Biden's scrutiny, which was characterised by worries about his mental clarity. Now, voices on the left are calling for more transparency about Trump's condition. Trump has maintained being frequently present for press briefings, except for the recent hiatus that ignited online chatter.

Amidst all this, Trump stayed active on Truth Social, declaring, “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.” He responded to accusations of double standards, pointing out the media’s inconsistency in coverage compared to Biden’s frequent absences from the public.

Vice President Vance’s recent comments further fuelled the speculation, as he assured the public of Trump’s good health. Despite his assurances, some interpreted his readiness to step in as a sign of looming concerns, placing Vance in a difficult situation as both supporters and critics carefully dissected his words, reported THE HILL.

Social media users, ever quick to speculate, even questioned road closings around Walter Reed Medical Center, suggesting possible health-related visits. Yet, the White House maintains no such events were planned, aiming to quell the rising conspiracy theories.

The focus on Trump’s health highlights a lingering tension from Biden’s presidency, where mental fitness was a recurrent theme. As Trump continues his term, the watchful eyes on his health persist, shaping public discourse with each new development.

Just f hurry up and kick the bucket, so the world can breathe easier!

The only one talking crazy is you! 60% of what you stated publicly while in office the first time was fact checked and found to be bulls.it! More than any other president before you ever! You’re full of s.it!

'Crazy Talk'

I thought it is his best trade, all things considered...

Ah well hope springs eternal…..perhaps soon the macdonalds diet will work its magic and all the medical expertise will not help the troll in chief

off the meds again?

I don’t hang in those circles. How strong are they? Strong enough to mentally scar you by the sounds of it

MAGAnistas simply have no originality. Meds? I bet it took every neuron in your noggin to come up with that "slaying" comeback!

Cyrus McCormick, he of the eponymous combine, was used by me just to note the change in farming techniques from animals to machinery. Had the animals been as weak as Trump, fields would never have been plowed, food not planted, and humanity would have either stayed with foraging or more likely slashed the population to the point of extinction.

I'll admit the attempt at humor was not particularly grand, but the fact you did not even get it is undeniable proof that you're in that demographic far left of the mean on the IQ Bell Curve, which is to say in the heart of Trumpistan.

Those of us with quality educations and who inherited a good set of genes often forget that not only are half the people of below average intellect, but those who make up the MAGAs are a std dev or more below the mean. Scary, but the world still needs a few janitors and truck drivers.

In the future, when I believe any reference, joke or irony I write will be a puzzle to MAGAnistas, I will put footnotes or something similar to help the remedial demographic.
