Prince Harry has reunited with King Charles at Clarence House, marking their first meeting since February 2024. The private tea, lasting about 50 minutes, took place at the royal residence in London. Prince Harry, later asked about the King, simply said, "Yes, he's great."

The Duke of Sussex and his father view the reunion as a potential first step towards healing their strained relationship. The King arrived from Scotland, while Prince Harry has been in the UK for charity events. Earlier this year, in a BBC interview, Prince Harry expressed a desire to reconcile with his family, stating he would "love a reconciliation".

Their last interaction followed the King's cancer diagnosis in 2023, with Prince Harry visiting briefly. Despite several UK visits for legal matters, this meeting represents an important personal encounter. After the meeting, the Palace refrained from commenting further on the private discussions.

Speculation about whether Prince Harry would meet the King has shadowed his current UK visit, which includes charity work in London and Nottingham. He is set to return to the US on Thursday to reunite with Meghan and their children.

Efforts to heal family disagreements have been widely speculated, with recent talks reportedly aimed at resolving differences. Although representatives met in July, there have been no meetings with Prince William, as both brothers continue separately with their commitments.

While Prince Harry paid respects at the grave of Queen Elizabeth II on the third anniversary of her death, Prince William and Catherine attended a Women's Institute event honouring the late Queen.

Key Takeaways

  • Prince Harry met King Charles for the first time since 2024 at Clarence House.
  • The reunion is viewed as a step towards improving their relationship.
  • Prince Harry continues his UK charity work and returns to the US on Thursday.

William will relieve him of his titles faster than a cultural enricher relieves an Asian tourist of their iPhone on Oxford Street.

He's just trying to get whatever he can from the King before it's too late. Judging by his face as he left, that didn't go too well. 😆

Best get Merchie, sorry I mean Archie onto Instagram ASAP. Ker-Ching.

If he is not a working family member, he should lose all titles and any benefits that accompany that position.  Aside from that, how  he and his father get along is their personal  business.

I never read about how he gets along with James Hewitt, so I guess the public respects that relationsship as privat.
